Set near Calicut in Kerala, a region deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of Ayurveda, Tulah is a sanctuary where nature, healing and modern wellness come together. The architecture follows the natural contours of the landscape, preserving century-old trees while using natural light, cross-ventilation and locally sourced materials to create a serene connection with the surroundings.

At the heart of the retreat is the Sonorium, the world’s largest sound healing dome, where the resonant frequencies of gongs and singing bowls create an immersive experience of stillness and restoration. Lush gardens provide seasonal produce for therapeutic farm-to-table cuisine, with meals designed using Ayurvedic principles and modern nutritional science and tailored to individual dosha, microbiome and genetic profiles.

Tulah also brings together advanced medical care and traditional wellness. Its clinical wing features a fully equipped operating theatre, ICU, medical suites and 24-hour monitoring, while regenerative therapies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Cryotherapy complement Ayurveda and other natural treatments.

Surrounded by the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, Tulah draws from one of the world’s richest environments for medicinal plants and herbs. Set across a 30-acre sanctuary, Tulah features 65 rooms and suites and 14 dedicated therapy areas. Each room and suite are thoughtfully designed as a place of stillness, with soft natural light, natural materials and open views creating a serene environment for deep rest, quiet renewal and connection with nature. 

Location

Tulah is conveniently accessible by air, rail and private helicopter. A private helicopter landing at Tulah Clinical Wellness can be arranged with advance notice. Calicut International Airport is approximately 30 minutes away, while Kozhikode (Calicut) Railway Station is around 40 minutes from the sanctuary.
