A deeply cleansing Ayurvedic programme designed to purify the body, restore balance and prepare the system for renewed vitality. Shodhana Chikitsa draws on selected Panchakarma procedures and begins with Purvakarma, the preparatory phase through which the body is gradually readied for the cleansing process.
Rooted in traditional Ayurveda, the programme works with the body's natural processes of elimination and aims to address accumulated imbalances associated with Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Depending on the individual’s condition and the Vaidya’s assessment, therapies may include classical Panchakarma procedures such as Virechana (therapeutic purgation), Vasti (medicated enemas) and Nasya (nasal medication).
For guests seeking a comprehensive Ayurvedic reset rather than a programme focused on a single concern, Shodhana Chikitsa offers an immersive journey into traditional purification and rebalancing. A complete Panchakarma detox requires a minimum of 21 days; the duration and specific therapies are determined by the Vaidya according to each guest’s individual needs.
